Wheel-thrown matcha teacup with thumb indent that offer a natural resting place for the fingers. Glazed in a stone white glaze and fired in a reduction atmosphere, adding the black speckles and earthy hues.

Care Instructions                                                                                                                Food safe and dishwasher safe (however hand wash with care is highly recommended to preserve the glaze and longevity)                                                                              Microwave & oven safe with careful handling — avoid sudden temperature changes and direct flame.

Ceramic pieces are delicate and should be handled with care, as they can chip or break if dropped or knocked.

Each piece is individually handmade, so slight variations in size, shape, and colour may occur—even within the same series. These natural differences, and small irregularities are not flaws, but part of the beauty of a handcrafted piece.

While I try to represent each piece as accurately as possible, there may be minor differences from the photographs. For size reference, images with the piece held in hand are included wherever possible.

Comfort Note                                                                                                                      The cups are designed to be comfortably held with both hands. 
The guiding philosophy : if it's too hot to hold, it's too hot to drink.
The cup will feel warm for the first few minutes after a hot drink is poured — a natural  part of the experience with handle-less cups, and a gentle reminder to pause and sip mindfully.
