The Yunomi — meaning "to drink tea" — has a rich history, evolving through countless shapes and forms. Yet, it remains defined by its simple, handless design. Its unadorned shape speaks to a tradition where beauty and utility exist as one.

Once a humble tea vessel, the Yunomi has now transcended its origins and found its place in modern life, holding everything from tea to water, coffee, or even wine.

For me as a maker, the Yunomi embodies quiet simplicity — a reminder that the true value of handmade objects lies in their everyday use, in being held, used, and loved day after day.
